At Hotel Eolo, green thinking is our philosophy, and we are firmly committed to environmental sustainability. We embrace an eco-friendly vision, implementing advanced practices in environmental sustainability.
Our responsibility goes beyond the walls of our hotel. That's why we have implemented initiatives that make your stay more environmentally friendly.
Energy Consumption
All our electricity comes from a certified 100% renewable energy supplier. We monitor electricity consumption on a monthly basis to make decisions aimed at reducing it. We encourage the use of bicycles and public transport among our guests.
Water Consumption
We monitor water consumption on a monthly basis in order to control and reduce water consumption. We inform guests and train staff to be aware of water usage. We have flow-reducing filters on all the taps in the hotel.
Environment
At Hotel Eolo we care about everything around us. Puerto Pollensa is a destination rich in nature and for this reason, our landscaping has a low water impact, using plants and hedges native to the island.
Waste Management
We facilitate selective collection in our restaurants. We have recycling bins for plastics, organic waste and glass on all floors of the hotel for the use of our guests.
Consumption of food and other materials
We buy vegetables in the summer season from local suppliers. We have vegetarian dishes on our menus and in our breakfast buffet with less water impact in their processes.
We minimise the purchase of disposables by establishing minimum packaging priorities with our suppliers. We prioritise sourcing from local suppliers over more global ones.
